Local emergency charging fallback – how have you solved it?

Hi,

I’m looking for ideas on how others have implemented a local emergency charging fallback on a cFos Power Brain.

My normal charging is controlled by Home Assistant and works very well, but I would like one simple local method that always allows full-power charging if Home Assistant, the LAN or Internet is unavailable.

My preferred solution would be an RFID card, but a simple push button or external switch would also be perfectly acceptable.

How have others solved this?

  • RFID?
  • External button/switch?
  • S0 input?
  • Charging rules?
  • Something else?

I’m interested in keeping the normal charging setup unchanged and simply having a reliable local fallback.

Thanks!
