The scope of services of the cFos Charging Manager corresponds to the description on

The cFos Charging Manager can be operated with the devices listed in the description. If the desired charging station is not explicitly mentioned in OCPP, you must arrange a test appointment with us so that we can check compatibility and make any necessary adjustments to the cFos Charging Manager.

If you operate Modbus RTU devices with the cFos Charging Manager, we recommend connecting a maximum of 20 devices per Modbus (two-wire bus). For each Modbus, you need two terminating resistors of 120 Ohm each, a voltage-proof RS-485 adapter and a USB isolator to galvanically separate the Raspberry (or the PC) from the bus.

Modbus kit, price 99,- Euro, consisting of:

  • 2 x Terminating resistor 120 Ohm, 1/4 Watt
  • 1 x USB RS-485 adapter
  • 1 x USB isolator
  • 1 x 0.5m USB extension

You don't have to buy a Modbus kit from us, you can also buy the components from a specialised dealer.

We recommend a Raspberry Pi 3+ or Pi 4 in a top-hat rail housing for installation in the distribution cabinet for the EVSEs.

Raspberry kit, price 239,- Euro, consisting of:

  • 1 x Raspberry Pi 3+ or Pi 4
  • 1 x Top-hat rail case
  • 1 x Power supply
  • 1 x 16 GB MicroSD card
  • Installation of the latest Raspberry OS and cFos Charging Manager
  • Setting up the basic settings for your home connection
  • Setting up a sample configuration for charging station

You do not need to purchase a Raspberry kit from us. You can also purchase the Raspberry from a specialist retailer and download the cFos Charging Manager from our website and install it according to the instructions there. Alternatively, you can also use a PC with Windows 10.

The licences via the charging points include lifetime free updates of the cFos Charging Manager. This gives you access to improvements, new features and bug fixes. It is our endeavour to constantly adapt the cFos Charging Manager to the current requirements of the market, e.g. to enable interaction with as many devices of different manufacturers as possible
